Below are the answers to some of most commonly asked questions regarding our Semarca membership products.

1.    Is this package good for both small and large associations?

YES!  No matter the size of your organization the SAMS package can and does quickly and efficiently handle all your members, from 100 to over 100,000.

2.    Does this package work well for association management companies?

Yes!  Management companies are only required to purchase the needed modules once.   Each additional association is added for a nominal fee.

3.    What are the (minimum) hardware requirements of the SAMS package?

Client
Pentium 333 or higher 
32 megabytes memory or higher 
Windows versions supported are Win95, Win98, and Windows NT workstation 

Server
Pentium 400 or higher 
128 megs of memory or higher
Microsoft's Window NT or Novel 4.x or higher

4.    What networks does Semarca support?

Novell 4.x (or higher) and Windows NT

5.    Do you offer any sort of payment plan?

Yes!   Semarca offers an easy 2-year payout plan, with a 10% down payment required.

6.    Is there a money-back guarantee

Yes!   You have a 30-day trial period from installation.  If you're not satisfied with the SAMS package you can return the software for a full refund.  (Does not include conversion or custom programming costs.)

7.    Do you offer software maintenance and technical support?

Yes!  We offer a very affordable software maintenance plan which provides you convenient system updates and unlimited technical support via phone, fax and email.  If you choose not to subscribe to the maintenance plan, all technical support calls are billed on a per-call basis.

8.    How do we receive updates to the program?

The primary contact will be notified by e-mail of new updates. Using the Utility in SAMS, updates are available 24-hours-a-day. 

9.    How do you train our employees?

 We provide training at your own office location or classroom training at our site in Austin, Texas.

10.    How long will it take to get us up and running?

Usually only one week.

11.    How do we get files from our old system into the Semarca program?

In most cases, your current records can be exported and converted from your system to SAMS using the ASCII or .DBF file formats.

12.    We have some very specialized reports already created in other software applications that we want to keep.  Can they be recreated in Semarca?

Because of the flexibility of the Crystal Report Writer, most reports can be recreated within SAMS.  In the case of a very complex report, a custom report can usually be written to accommodate client needs.

13.    Do you interface with Word or WordPerfect for mail merges?

Yes.
