Registration is your
solution. The web pages are actually designed from the meeting created within SAMS so additional web development
from an outside source will not be necessary.
Post your meetings and events on your website and enable members or
the public to register online. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to see results. Your members
will log with their user name and password. This makes the registration process easy because your members'
current contact information is retrieved directly from your database. Another great benefit is that you have
the option of opening your meetings to non-members. Attendees will receive a confirmation email and their
records are updated in your database. The confirmation email can also include a carbon copy to a staff
member.
One of the greatest benefits to SAMS-Meeting Registration is the fact the data will be real-time. Meaning that when a
member registers, makes their payment and receives confirmation the association staff will be able to see the
registration info immediately. No more waiting to the end of the day to find out how many have registered for
your meeting.
Additonal Hardware/Software Required for SAMS Web Modules:
Before installing SAMS Web Applications, the client must purchase
the following items:
Sub-Domain Name- This can be purchased through your Internet Service Provider. The
price of this varies by provider.*

Affinipay Gateway Setup Fee and Cost - This can
be setup through The Semarca Corporation. Affinipay is a PCI Compliant
service used for credit card processing. There is a one-time setup fee of $150 and subscription fee
of $10/mo. for Basic service and no transaction fees (unlike most other providers). For more information

We are also able to work with other gateway providers such as Authorize.net, PayPal, and Pay Flow Pro (an
additional SSL Certificate may be required for security).
Merchant Account- Contact your bank for details. A merchant account is necessary
if you wish to accept credit card payments.*
Server- A server (machine) is required to run the Web Applications. It is highly
recommended that your IP address for the sub-domain name/SSL Certificate reside on a machine that is rarely
used. If it is placed on a machine that is used in day-to-day operations, your customers will experience slow
response rates while using the application or their transaction could be timed out completely. It is best to
prevent these possible issues by designating a separate unit for the Web Applications. You do not have to buy a
new computer or server to do this. You can more than likely use an older CPU tower that has sufficient RAM to
run the applications. Servers can generally be purchased for $1000 or less.
*Please note that the Sub-domain name, Affinipay, and Merchant Account are only necessary if you plan on
receiving payments through your website. Each of the above items is in addition to the cost of Semarca’s software.
